Made some marmalade today which I thought I'd overboiled . When that happens it sets like cement. I'm pleased to report that, after having some toast, it's perfect. Now have upwards of 30 jars of the buggers ; come the nuclear holocaust I'll be alright Jack.

Garden shed cleared out - just the one mouse in there rather than the horde of rats I was expecting.
Tip run done.
Garden tidied up, a few new planting additions, pots filled and ready for the spring & summer.
Couple of minor DIY jobs done that I'd been putting off.

Proper Bank Holiday Dad satisfaction.
