Today was the first time in 16 months that I have got to watch Armagh GAA play. Went to the hurling today and just getting to sit in the stadium and enjoy the game has done me the world of good.

It’s the small things.

Daughter passed her driving test at the first attempt.
She has worked so hard to get herself a little car.
Starts uni in September. (Should have started last year but Covid stopped that)
All this at the tender age of 19, I’m so proud of her

Not really a minor thing but my daughter has just done something amazing and made me so proud of her….. she had to deliver her friends baby in a lay-by on the roadside whilst on the way to hospital.

Went to the dentist for a lovely spot of root canal, he numbs my jaw, does a bit of drilling and says, change of plan - its not as bad as I thought, we're gonna skip the RCT and put a cushioned filling in.
So not only no drilling the heck out of me tooth, the bill was £80 instead of £420. Well chuffed.

Just been on the phone to my dad and watched the last 15 mins of the matches tonight together.
Moaning about Everton as well etc.

He then goes on to tell me why he likes Hungary because he was on Gwladys St in 1966 watching them play Brazil and they were boss apparently ?!

I genuinely love the stories from that time as footy just sounded ace.

Went back to the gym for the first time since Covid began. Excited to getting back to doing some weight training.
