when there is a big queue at the petrol station, but only for the pumps on the left side of the cars. Fortunately I know that the pumps are long enough to reach the other side of my car so I can drive straight up to a pump on the right side of my car and fill up without queueing

The saga of my brand new dishwasher (see 'minor things that make you fume') has finally been resolved. Got on to supplier (Curries) who couldn't supply a like for like replacement, so with the agreement of Bosch, are supplying a higher spec model at no extra cost. Result!

Grandson playing footie , earlier . Shoulder barged quite hard by an opponent , had to come off for the remainder of the first half . Came back on during the 2nd half and took the offending player out with a tackle Psycho Pat would have been proud of .

They already exist at most petrol stations. Most Shell and Tesco stations do. It’s handy to know as I hardly ever have to queue for fuel.
