Construction Christmas shut down. I’ve just booked my annual 2 weeks off work and I’ve still got 8 days holiday to use before the end of March.

I always moan about having to take these days off but when it comes round it's brilliant, spend most of the time pissed and stuffing my face. Fantastic.

I always moan about having to take these days off but when it comes round it's brilliant, spend most of the time pissed and stuffing my face. Fantastic.

It worked out that I didn’t have to take a single day off this year because the directors have given us 3 ‘gift days’. I took a couple more days off either side though.

It’s always a great 2 weeks. Food, family, friends and alcohol.

It’s the best time of the year for me. I dread Christmas coming sometimes as I can’t stand the consumerism, but I always end up looking forward to it nearer the time.

I work in shops. It's already Christmas mate..

I remember when I used to work in a restaurant and we’d play the same 20 Christmas songs on repeat for 2 months. Horrible.

My brother in law is a head chef in a hotel.

He cooks virtually the same Christmas dinners from mid November to mid January, whether it's for parties or punters.

No wonder he's such a grumpy bastardo, who drinks ferociously lol
