It seems to be run for the middle classes.
The grounds of Speke Hall, cafe and kids play area used to be free to get into, with only the hall having an admission price or free to National Trust members.
( which is fair enough ).
Other than to National Trust members, it now costs £8 for an adult and £4.40 for a child to get access into anywhere, inc all the areas that used to be free.
The net result is that people with kids who wanted to use the play area or people who just wanted something to eat or a cup of tea now have to pay for the privilege.
Or they walk away and don't come back, leaving the place empty and without the money they would've spent.

I was driving home before and tried to overtake a bus which had pulled over, I got halfway past and the cvnt pulled out and deliberately pushed me in to the parked cars on the other side of the road. Fortunately it's just scratched but FFS. Bus drivers are absolutely lethal over here. They will purposely block a road so people don't overtake them.

Petrol stations with pumps that don't work properly. Have to stand there three times as long and find the point that allows maximum volume to flow without it clicking off. I pay you enough for your fuel for you to have pumps that function properly!

Getting sweatier trying to light my Kopite BBQ.
Linked to this, petrol stations staffed by shambling morons who take an age to authorise the pump to dispense fuel. They sit there, behind a till with everything they need to do their job within arm's reach... so why does it take them more than three seconds to press whatever button they need to when I pick up the pump? It's literally the ONLY thing they have to do ffs!
And no, before someone makes the obvious suggestion, I don't want to use the "pay at pump" function. It exists for the same reason self-service tills do - to make people unemployed.
