minor things that make you fume

Drat, I tried that early in this millennium.
I achieved quite dramatic results initially, only to put the lot back on again. It is not really wise to cut out one of our important nutrients, carbohydrates in this instance, for too long. Being omnivores, as we (semi) humans are, they form part of our diet, as they all perform important functions, and all parts of our diet are essential to our well-being.
I did try the Max Plank ( this is genuine, I promise) diet , which also worked. Again, unfortunately, with only short term benefits.
Probably best if I didn't bother again, because age is against me now to be honest.
But that is me, and I am sure you and Mrs Groucho will enjoy greater success and lasting benefits.
Happy Atkins!

We're not currently on it, and have so far kept most of it off, as @Morag will tell you.

Modern burgers.

And by that, I mean the ones that are five times as big as your gob. And they need a stick to hold them together.

Sure they're nice. They're very nice.

But eating them, which surely is the point, is difficult without making a mess akin to my kids' mess while eating.
