My hatred for other people has really grown over the last few years.
When did people become so selfish and full of their own self importance?

Its a good question.. i half think you just become more aware of it, as you get older. You can see people for who they really are, mostly selfish pricks, who really dont give a toss about anyone but themselves, boils my pi$$, totally.

I think it also largely is because of the way we live, amd work, to me anyway, it just is weird, it promotes being selfish, horrible to each other...

It has always been around but those who have these traits have now been given the tools to show it to a global audience, at the click of a finger, rather than just a small community at a lot of time and cost.

Like all the influencers who do these dance videos on public transport and in public places, where people are just trying to get around, yet they are there filming these ridiculous things because they think the world revolves around them.

A combination of a financial crash in 08, dodgy polictians telling people that foreigners rather than the US housing market caused it, a rise in Conservatism and populism in so many countries due to rising costs, things like Brexit and angry rich people not wanting to follow new rules and regulations so use hatred to stir up the stupid part of society.

Coupled with the fact that a quarter of people under 25 believe to be famous because they did something stupid on tiktok or Instagram, you now have most of the western world thinking they are better than everyone else and the removal of empathy is nearly complete

Seen it in my work place recently, it's poor and unqualified management here, trying to create an atmosphere of competition instead of one of accountability.
