The micro USB port has broken on my work phone so it connects to my computer as a charger but won't for file transfers (?!?!). I've had this with every android phone I've ever had. Utter junk.

My current phone doesn't seem to want to do data transfer either. I don't think it's broken, I think it's a common feature of modern Android phones. Very frustrating. Can you Bluetooth/wifi the files across?
