To be fair, he called people that donate to charities after being guilt tripped on the street 'weak-willed' not people that choose to give without outside intervention.
And while I do not agree with his vitriol, I am also not a fan of any door to door or street salesman(including charity volunteers) that won't accept a simple, "No, thank you." without grilling you.
