minor things that make you fume

Just had a massive argument with my collegue. Over something that to be honest was childish and unprofessional.

Short of it, was saying i filed an email away in the wrong place even though i told him i hadn't even seen it. Then i fumed at him for the fact he was accusing me of it and not taking my word, then even better he was telling me the email had mistakes i had made on it, and said the words 'check it, ok'. which then i flew off on him asking why he was speaking to me like he was above me etc.

Proper fumed at him, i even gave him chance to apologise to me and he didn't.

You get people like that from all walks of life. I'm sure it is not purely down to where he is from. Everyone has had to deal with obnoxious colleagues at some point or another. I would strongly advise not going down this route of complaint if you do have to report it!

See normally i wouldn't go down that route by any means. Been in a not too dissimilar position a few years back, and decided when speaking to managment about it not to even mention any names let alone put a greviance in .

But just to paint a little picture. I work in a team of only 3. The other two sit next to each other and i sit by a team leader on the other side of the desk. I don't have access to the teams phone, that is with them. They pick and choose work and leave certain things for me to do instead, stuff they dont want to do. The team also refused to train me saying instead i should go to It, but have spent the whole time i have been working here saying they are the only ones who can train people as IT don't have a clue (which is true). The fellow in question says nothing to me, will sit there and not say a word if the other guy is off. The pair of them blocked me off facebook quite early on with me being in the team, but have everyone else in the office on it.

and soon i probably will be sat in an office where my team mates won't say a word to me, the person next to me is a team leader who isn't the best person to chat to most of the time (been told 'too busy to listen to you about a work issue not too long ago!), but said team mates are talking to everyone else in the office. It will be horrible but the reason i have to go down the path is that despite me raising all these issues over the past 3 years, nobody has done a thing about it.

They have no respect for you. You give the impression they are your subordinates, yes? Yet you admit they give you all the rubbish work?

Believe me i have tried in the past and will try again very soon. Can't add the stress of job hunting over the next 6 weeks haha

But yeah pretty much, have even raised this a number of times with team leader and supervisor and it has got nowhere. In fact the last time i was told 'it seemed i was just trying to cause trouble' as they were saying things about me, which if they were, i'd love to know what i do wrong haha

they aren't below me, they are the same job as me. Which makes it worse tbh, especially the way it blew up the way it did today.

I do weant to leave though, genuinely do, and after i get the next 2 months out the way i am planning on grabbing a new job, planning on taking a sideways step if need be just to get out the department i am in. Just gets me that nothing is done, and what i know the reaction will end up being after he finds out about the greviance.
