Unfortunately a lot traditional boozers have had to adapt or die mate, which means becoming more family friendly.

I believe the Lisbon doesn't allow children in, so you may want to give it a go ?

Sorry, but your responsibility to NOT impose your noisy kids upon the general public is a greater priority than little Jayden being able to run around the restaurant "because he's excited/bored/completely ignorant of basic social manners".

If they are unable to be quiet by themselves and you are not willing to either a) make them quiet or b) take them away when they refuse to be quiet, then don't bring them to public places or events. I've been to two weddings and a family function recently that have been spoiled by noisy kids. Boils my piss.

Like others I hate screaming kids with a passion in places you shouldn't expect screaming kids. The first and last time I used a train to travel up North recently I specifically requested the quiet carriage but instead was dumped opposite a little brat who cried his eyes out for the entire journey.

My partner said goodbye to a good friend tonight, the good friend is moving to the Netherlands. He was in tears the wimp, however, what made me feel very uneasy was that the friend was a female.

I will start off by saying I have no ill will towards gays, but am I right in assuming that you are ? I read this post 5 or 6 times and I am still confused !

Couldn't agree more mate - it's the parents fault not the kids.

The problem is that you risk a proper kick off if you say anythng to some parents about their kids, as the kids are mirror images of them - thugs.

Had a pund bakery salad for dinner so just took a little bit of rice, small slice of quiche, some random thing i cant explain and a little sausage roll. Pains me as they had crisps and cakes and stuff out and i cant touch them :-(

You'll need a knuckle duster and a baton if you plan on saying anything to a kid in front of its parents in certain parts of Liverpool mate !
