Bought a little fan heater for my bedroom and the thing sounds like an effing jumbo jet is in my room.

Having side by side double power points, but almost every electrical appliance has the cord coming out the side of the plug meaning you can't have 2 things plugged in at the same time.

Can't say I've ever seen a cord come out the side of the plug (must be an Aussie thing), but I do have a few sockets which are right up against the skirting board, meaning those plugs with the tough plastic neck bit (to prevent the cord breaking) simply don't go in properly. Well annoying.

After a good night in the boozer on Friday, me and one of the lads ended up in the local kebab shop and they had these highlights on. We each picked a player to root for and ended up eating our food standing up and watched the whole thing in there!
