Working at a bar gets ridiculous sometimes, especially if you don't know a niche cocktail requested by the poshest tw@ ever. "Hahaha, what kind of barstaff are you if you can't do a coctail?" "Well, for one, this isn't a cocktail bar" "PFT This is very basic I'll tell you how to make it" - proceeds to list like 10 ingredients. "Simple".

Being told by my director in my appraisal that I'd 'definitely' be getting a company car. I emailed him yesterday as it was 2 weeks since that conversation and I'd not heard anything since. His response implied that it was never even mentioned and that I wouldn't be getting one until pay review in August, depending on T's and C's.

Utter c***.

This is why I should never have a job which involves interaction with the general public. I'd definitely make some sarcy comment and get the sack sharpish...
