Couple days ago, got an email in my university inbox, here's subject line:

covered the name of uni because some of u are weirdos, but there's nothing wrong with subject line right? Its from admins so its not spam/scam.


And today got this:

How the hell can anyone find it offensive or discriminatory??
'kin snowflakes, man. Getting offended is their reason to live.

Vegans will be offended by people eating burgers.

On this basis, logically, they should also object to the phrase, 'each to their own' which is a synonym to 'live and let live' which presumably is the basis of their way of life. Ergo logic dictates that vegans are offended by themselves.

Reminds me of a time I opened the door to my deputy head's office and gave him the shocked, googly eyes look if offence. The day before, under the 'healthy eating' campaign that justified his job for the year, the objectionable goblin had banished my favourite pudding from the canteen. A day later he was going off site with the senior perfect to give them (and him) a pizza and chips reward lunch for their works.

I sometimes think I'm surrounded by clowns.

Went to the Doc's this morning. Temporary traffic lights at one of the junctions. They are putting road humps in and they have put one road hump (almost like a tank trap) only a few yards from the 'give way' lines at the cross-road. Its a busy cross-road, no one ever approaches it at speed.

Some fella who owns a contractor firm and is a member of the local masonic lodge, has been given a boost by a 'friendly' councillor no doubt.

Days of austerity, but theres always money for random pointless stuff.

Been patiently waiting for the oven to heat up so i can my supper this evening (pizza). After waiting the requisite time I've gone back into the kitchen to place said food in the now hot oven.... only to discover I turned the fecking grill on by mistake.

Supper delayed by another 30 mins FFS.
