Just out of sheer curiosity, why don't you folks just move over and let the other driver go past you? After experiencing driving in France and seeing French drivers all doing this, I've started doing the same. Driving is much more relaxing as a result.

Lost my job yesterday - essentially boiled down to a husband not having the balls to tell his wife that he'd instructed me to do things a certain way, when her head was in cloud cuckoo land. She's found out what I've done and told him to get shut of me. Job's also been advertised a week before getting rid of me.

Doesn't sound legal any of that ?

Are you in a union, have a rep ?

Cheers for the advice gents. Been there under 2 years so no ability to claim constructive dismissal. Sadly all I needed was a weeks notice. So paid up to 20th (next payday then I’m out.)

I’d had last week off and the Thursday off the week before so it seems that’s when it was all decided.

Very toxic environment though and I’m glad to be gone in all honesty.

How about leaving them with a few little "gifts " ?

A few strips of strategically placed smoked mackerel in the right spot, will leave them with a legacy to remember you by.

The air conditioning, if you have it being a good place. It`ll be nice and rotten, by the time they switch it on.

Lift up a few ceiling tiles and place in there.

You could also have a crap in the bosses drawers if you get the chance
