Been out looking at purchasing a new settee.
First shop, walked round with the Mrs, browsing, getting measurements etc, perfect.
Second shop, walked in, within seconds set upon by a very stereotypical salesman, who proceeded to follow us around the shop and was dead pushy.
He had a sofa I wanted as well and probs would have got the sale if he hadn't annoyed me.

Commission whores do my head rar in!! Listen mate I will buy because I like it, not because you have persuaded me too, now 'koff with your small talk. And don't give me the "I got one myself a few months ago" BS

Wife told me to buy a new computer desk as she doesn't like that I have my printer on a portable piece of junk that is designed for a student and had a microwave on it on the box(particle board shizz)
Started my search yesterday afternoon and when I checked my email Office Depot are having a 1 day sale 50% off. I see one I like but don't pull the trigger as I had no idea if they had bad prices to start and the sale just makes them reasonable. So I spent today shopping around and find that my best bet is the one I wanted from Office Depot that's $300 not the $150 it was yesterday.

And (deducing) you live in the States where diy is a thing, and cheap, with lots of stuff easily accessible - unlike the UK where it's marketed as a hobby, so the little material you can find is poor quality and hugely overpriced.
