Really ?

You think a 3-0 loss in the Quarter Final has more of an impact than getting knocked out of a Merseyside derby at Wembley ?

Give over !

Yep. It was beyond shocking. Whereas the s/f result was inevitable after Distin's unfortunate back pass.

'David Moyes doesn't need a trophy, Everton need a trophy' - David Moyes

Eleven years and counting Tango head.

November.

"I will probably wait until we have got over January and see how things go," said Moyes. "I want to see what we're going to do and where the club are looking to move to in the future. And that's what I'm really looking for as well. It's probably going to be after the new year before we speak [with chairman Bill Kenwright]."

February.

Moyes had initially been expected to hold contract talks this month but subsequently announced they would be deferred until he could gauge Everton’s progress at the end of the season.
And the Goodison manager admitted: “I just want to wait and see where we are, so yeah, maybe it could be seen as me taking a gamble, but I don’t want it to be seen as us making any excuses here over my contract or the transfer window.

Don't see how him choosing to look at where Everton are means that he thinks it's 'all about him'.

Is he not allowed to do that ? Seems fairly obvious that not getting anybody in during January did him in.

Aye hard to argue against it. Think back eleven years to the Moyes with fire in his belly who went after the opposition and got what we are as a fanbase. It's all about him now, not Everton.

If it really is all about him, why not just sign a new contract now, get a pay rise, insert a non compo clause into the contract, profit.

We'l come 7th, we'l probably have a chance of europe but have to go to that sh!thole across the park and win, we'l go there and sh!t ourselves again.

It's the Everton way.

Commit or **** off simple as that

The mans a joke

So you'd rather he sign a contract and get a payrise then just quit in the summer ? Same end result.

He's had a fantastic drink on Everton for the past eleven years and done well enough for the state we were in. This whole posturing over a contract, on top of five years ago where he derailed the beginning of our season with similar leaves a bad taste in the mouth. As did him fluttering his eyelashes at Spurs as a pundit in the Euros last summer.

I don't blame you for your naiveness. Everton have been relatively crap all your life. It's not meant to be this way though.

Megahead just goes with the say old thing here.

Clearly the January window made him change his mind about signing/talking.

He wants to see were we sit at the end of the Season, I personally think he wanted 4th/Cup, maybe, as others have said, to boost his appeal to a new Club. Megahead touched on the fact that Moyes sees Everton as a stepping stone, 11 Years, wasted at a Club without a pot to piss in, thats 1 long step.

If hes staying sign if he wants out say so and do one

Hes hanging on looking to see if something better pops up, If it does he knows said club doesnt have to pay any compo which will be a plus for any prospective employer
