Stop being reasonable. Generational warfare is a time-honored tradition in which old people shake sticks at the younger generation because things change and they begin feel the icy grip of death stalking their every move.Oh good. Generational warfare, then.
What happy times we live in. I suspect we'd all be better served by addressing humans as individuals, not groups.
Except for Kopites, of course.
Personally, I look forward to being a crotchety old man to the point that I am actively cultivating it at far too young of an age.
In truth, give millennials time - all generations appear vapid and ignorant when they're teenagers - because teenagers are vapid and ignorant. Millennials actually have a lot going for them on the social and environmental awareness levels. And considering the absolutely monstrous political and economic situation they've been thrust into, they're doing just fine.
No matter how much I happen to agree that their choices of media consumption and need for constant attention/connection are both confounding and insane. It appears to me, the more connected we become, the more isolated we are, and I think that's the real danger for millennials possibly turning out to be a terrible generation.
