Find it strange that he seems to have forgotten who gave him his chance in the Premier League... Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we got Ancelotti, instead of him, if it happens but we should've been his first start into management I think, however it seems that he didn't even consider us, odd no?
As I said, happy with a proven winner over a(nother) 5 year project...
Just hope we give Dunc a good send off!
Think Arteta would have been a good hire. However did we want him?
I think Arteta could be a good appointment but at the wrong club, Arsenal problems run deeper then just the manager. Are they going to back him? Or did they get him because top managers wanted promises they wont get there.Yeah, if we wanted another potentially 5 plan, and if the Arse weren't looking a manager, and if Ancelotti didn't become available, I'd say we would've been interested, just not sure he would've left City so quickly to join us though...
Which says a lot about him...
Still, made up with Carl and time will tell which appointment was the better...

Really cant see them in the top 6 any time soon.

I don’t think that’s accurate. Kroenke just wants Arsenal to operate within its own financial limitations. In the long run I think this will work out better for Arsenal.Oh yeah for sure, the Arsenal job is way bigger than ours... And I mean in terms of the rebuilding, not the stature of the clubs...
It's clear *Kronkae is thinking about reducing the cost, meaning limited funds available, meaning exactly what you said, they'll struggle for top 6 for the foreseeable future, which bodes well for us to join the elite!
Exciting times I tells thee...![]()
Thing is doesn't Kroenke see success as a healthy financial profit rather then a trophy? A lot of Arsenal fans use to say this about them, his ambition and the fans were on a different wave lengthI don’t think that’s accurate. I think it is both. To maximize the financial you need on-field success. But the investment cannot exceed what the club can actually afford.Thing is doesn't Kroenke see success as a healthy financial profit rather then a trophy?
