i think the encouraging more argument is a bit past it now, we are already in the situation of people needing help and it is not 'normal' refugees its much much bigger than that

We have no moral obligation to house millions of refugees, if they are genuine asylum seekers then they should not be coming to the UK.

I was fully expecting him to blame the lack of a referendum on a coalition government. He can't do that now, so the referendum will probably be rigged.

The government and other EU governments should be doing more to prevent these people landing on our shores. I'd gladly pay more taxes for greater patrols/security.

Worked for Australia the number of migrants drowning to reach there has plummeted now word is out that they aren't a soft touch.
