Former Republic of Ireland manager and player Mick Meagan has died.
You started at about the same time as me, I started going in 62, Mick was certainly vital to the Johnny Carey team, but, I think Catterick had his heart set on Ray Wilson from the day he joined us. Mind you Mick was versatile and could play in other positions.
….ah, just catching up with this. Glad I saw him play. I have that picture in mind of Ray Wilson signing & Meagan unhappily looking over his shoulder as he was in his way to Huddersfield.
