Took the slap like a champ

Will be up for a ppv v Jake Paul next.

He's a confidence player more than most.

I was particularly impressed with how he handled himself after being slapped and seeing his own teammate sent off.

Now he's had time to think, I just hope the massive attention and the moment doesn't unsettle him.
No chance, the lad is feeling the fan love he's always needed.

Yesterday's reaction showed everything you need to know about the lad.

If anything was going to unsettle him, it would have been than.

From what we've seen in the past, to the man we're watching now is the biggest difference we've seen in a player.

All about the love 💙

He has always been one of if not the best attacking center backs in the league. The biggest issue with him his entire career is he has always been caught flat footed and too slow to turn. I feel like he has at the very least increased his alertness (Gana pass excluded) and he compensates a little better by being on his toes. Still not perfect. He has had good seasons. But he looks a different player this year

He's having a steady season, nothing more or less really. I think because he has got a lot of stick in the past, some fans love to throw it down peoples throats when he isn't calamitous. Look at the Moyes thread last night when he finally won a game at Old Trafford after 20 odd attempts for the same sort of behaviour. The internets a strange place.

He seems to be a huge confidence player, or was, and he is having a good season now so it's carrying on

Plus he scores a decent amount too

He’s been our player of the year so far.

That’s not even a polarising statement, you could maybe argue for Illi but he’s not had the level of consistency that Keane has.

I wouldn't say he's been hated. He's rightly been doubted. But even before this season Keane proved his worth as an emergency striker.

He's been great this season, and as far as I'm concerned he's been player of the season so far. Maybe his regular detractors on here can show a bit of class and acknowledge that.
He really has been hated.
There's people on here gutted he's doing well.
Yeah one of their own players.

He's been extremely poor in the past and has improved under Moyes. However he's not great. He still gets dragged out of position and is prone to lapses in concentration. As a stop gap he's OK, but we need better if we're gonna improve.
