2025/26 Michael Vincent Keane

….such is his confidence, he went on a marauding run in open play in that 2nd half looking for a goal. Pressed forward, pushed to ball out left and continued into the box , such a shame the ball didn’t come in.
It did come in it was just nowhere near him.

Played really well again last night, showed more bite and composure than I think we’ve maybe ever seen in a blue shirt.

….yep, once it looked like their striker had got in behind but he stayed competitive and got a crucial header back to Pickford.

He’s clearly enjoying a surprising but welcome renaissance, let’s just enjoy it whilst it lasts.

Don’t think it’s surprising really, CB’s mature in their early 30s, often 30-35 are a CB’s best years. Always been the case. Strong as you’re going to be, quick as you are as well (before legs go) - and you’ve experienced every scenario imaginable again and again.

I think players in general are lasting longer and longer but CB’s have always been so.

It's like a kids' cartoon or sitcom where everything is going right and the characters are finally on the cusp of pulling something off. . .

. . .but then Keenan turns around and Kel has scored an oggy.
