It did come in it was just nowhere near him.
Played really well again last night, showed more bite and composure than I think we’ve maybe ever seen in a blue shirt.
….yep, once it looked like their striker had got in behind but he stayed competitive and got a crucial header back to Pickford.
He’s clearly enjoying a surprising but welcome renaissance, let’s just enjoy it whilst it lasts.

Don’t think it’s surprising really, CB’s mature in their early 30s, often 30-35 are a CB’s best years. Always been the case. Strong as you’re going to be, quick as you are as well (before legs go) - and you’ve experienced every scenario imaginable again and again.
I think players in general are lasting longer and longer but CB’s have always been so.
Between himself, Garner and Grealish for player of the season at this point. I'm leaning towards Keane for consistency but a shout to Garner for versatility.

Agreed, this has gone from a bit of a rogue shout to an actually pretty easy call as Keane has outperformed Tarkowski over a sustained period now. If you are deciding places on merit Keane surely stays in.
