Apparently our high line was same last season. I've asked for a link.

Maybe just feels worse because no Branthwaite, or Onana.

Onana was a presence there.
That stat can’t show a high line. Maybe it’s because we play direct. Basically all of our attacks will start in the opposition half. City never let the opposition out of their half in contrast.

It shows us in controlled possession - which we never have. The average position of the defenders is nowhere near one of the highest in the league.
So we manipulate the stat by everyone standing on the half way line when we kick off (which is a minimum 4 times a game when MK is playing) and kicking back to Pickford for a hoof? Makes sense.

I feel people are reading something I'm not saying here.

Keane is playing purely because Brathwaite is out injured. If he was available he wouldn't be playing.

None of this makes Keane any less crap. Of course he is, we all know he is.

And yes Dyche knows this too, hence he wouldnt be in the team if Branthwaite was available.

The worry would then come with O'Brien. is he not ready? is he not good enough either? I couldn't say as I have only seen him about 3 times.

You would hope he is better.
Thing is with Dyche he just sticks to what he knows, which is not much.

As you say no one knows much about Obrien but surely he can't be worse than Keane.

Simon Jordan on Michael Keane:

All performances have a story behind them, a sending-off in the first game of the season, Bournemouth was a capitulation, but this was something different. It was appalling defending from Keane for the first, appalling defending. Every time you put him in that side, that side capitulates. Ollie Watkins had no business winning that ball at the back post.”

I think Jordan is an AHole of the highest quality but he's spot on with that assessment.
