Better than O’Brien tonight, still went out.

No mentality whatsoever - didn’t think he had the minerals to step up first in a shootout but fair play - he’s just not a winner.

Agree scapegoat for everything could have thrown him upfront when he took took Beto off probably could have won us the game.However we didn't have a centre back on the bench or a forward such is the state of our squad .

I thought Michael Keane did well against Southampton. If Lindstrøm had been more clinical, or picked out a pass, on the few occasions he was through on goal, we'd have won that game. Keane wasn't the problem this evening.

We know he isn’t good enough but he did look a level above O’Brien last night. Very early days for O’Brien as he finds his feet in the league, settles into a new club. Etc.
Need Branthwaite back ASAP, so the Keane or O’Brien decision can wait.
