Seriously, if you think Michael Keane is "one of the worst defenders ever to play for the Club" you have a very short memory. He's bang average, absolutely no doubt about it, but there's several tiers of mediocrity before him.
I mean be definitely is one of the worst to play for us out of those with a similar appearance record.
I think it will be better for us for him to go, one or two good games a season aren't reason enough to keep him especially when his normal performance is him playing terribly, us conceding, and the players around him looking nervous because he's in the team, I'd genuinely rather have one of the younger lads on the bench than him.

People think because he pops up with the odd goal that excuses him from being a completely diabolical defender.
His base level is us conceding 3 goals every time he’s on the pitch. The couple of times a season when he looks steady and performs ok are the outliers. He is terrible and I don’t want to see him play for us ever again.

He’s a good finisher and that’s it, look at the City game when we were in a solid position for a point, he comes on and we go and lose 2-0
He’s gone missing more times than he’s stepped up, even the worst defenders we’ve had still step to the plate and not cower like Keane
