toffeestillidie

Player Valuation: £35m
What do you think? does he stay and help them battle their way up, or does he move on?

imo theres only one right decision here for a professional like owen. he should agree to a short term deal so that if he leaves next summer, the club will atleast benefit from it rather than leaving on a free transfer

of course, knowing owen he'll probably go to another club and not look back

There will be plenty of clubs in the lower two-thirds of the PL that would welcome him. But I doubt there are many that will value him as much as he values himself. I hope he doesn't end up here to be honest. Maybe he'll end up at City as back-up. At least there he might get paid in excess of £40k a week.

It'd be great if he went to Hull.

If he wants to earn a salary Dave, he's can't be choosy. At least at Hull he'd get a few games.

He's finished as a player for me.

Agreed. He lost interest when the CL clubs lost interest in him.

If I was a match-going Newcastle fan, I'd be really sore at the amount of money I had paid to keep that bloke on his ridiculous salary.

Well he might have to sell his helicopter now, thank goodness, makes a right old din when it flies overhead.
Ah, never mind, how the mighty have fallen.

Remember Souness introducing him to 'wor Gallowgate end' when he signed as the new Messiah? The final piece in the jigsaw.

Now it's Newcastle v Doncaster next season.

PMSL.

I said in post a year ago that Owen was living on his past reputation. I do not want him here.

If he had any sense should retire and play with his horses.
