Genuinely scary to think he might be playing all next season. Its like someone has a remote control button in the stand and has him on constant slow motion.
Sporting are a good side. Im not sure i need to see that next week just before the season starts.

Go take a look in the transfer thread, the usual headcases keep saying the squad is stronger than last year currently.

Probably only in central midfield, Gana, Onana and Garner hadn't been signed this time 12 months ago (shows how bad the CM options actually were in 21/22).

No chance in defence and o.k Danjuma came in but Gordon was here up to January last year so I'd say that's fairly level.

The possibility that he could still be playing regularly for us next season is what continues to make me more concerned about our defence than our attack.

If Branthwaite isn’t even ready enough to displace the championship level Keane, then I think this season could be the one where we finally get relegated.

I think we really need to sign a Premier League quality centre half! I don’t think our current crop of central defenders are going to be good enough next season.
