How do you improve pace and mobility?

He will be ragged senseless by the pace in the top 6 teams.

He totally lacks aggression and I doubt there’s a defender in the league that’s easier to go past. He did very well last season, but i’m convinced it was because Zouma was alongside.

Mate you don't have to defend your opinion on him, you know football better than most on here from a player's perspective.

He improved so much last season...probably due to a good partner, probably due to health, and probably due to some luck and maybe a little motivation to improve on a poor campaign.

He is what he is. I think we saw his best last season. Probably about on par with the season before joining us.

His limited athleticism can be compensated by a good partner and supreme awareness.

He was very late in his awareness on the first goal. Maybe a better athlete could have done something better, but his lack of reading the situation was, as you have said, a dream to play against.

....I rarely go overboard on criticising an individual, but Keane is another Walsh purchase that I shake my head at. Last night he showed no aggression or competitiveness. There was a reason the Villa CF attached himself to Keane last night.

I was happy to admit he did fine last season but he really is very ordinary and we shouldn’t build a team to cover his obvious weakness.

If he applied himself he could be decent. Probably too late though. Reading the game to overcome physical limitations is a very young man's adjustment.
