To think some experts on here used to slagoff John Stones.

Even as a gangly kid, Stones was twice as strong in defence as this fanny.
Keane has about 10th of Stones ability on the ball.
Defensively he makes him look like Claudio Gentile.

Not fast enough for how Silva wants us to play in most games; he’s far too slow and terrible in 1v1 situations on the counter.

Solid squad option for games when we expect to be on the back foot and under siege most of the game. Not suitable for home games against anyone outside the top six.
