i wouldn't. i'll even double down. if you look at his background and what we've known about him, is this really that surprising that he did this to kids?

Well actually yes, I DO find it surprising that anybody (regardless of background, upbringing etc) could do that to kids.

I'm even more surprised that anybody would be surprised by that.

Apparently this is the lock on the room (referenced in documentary) where he used to sleep with kids each night... now im no lock expert but I think its reasonable to assume he didn't want anyone coming in unannounced.

Inconvenient facts btw.

The accusers swore under oath that he hadn't done anything to them. Even under cross examination

They had a lawsuit thrown out of court and owe Michael Jackson estate money because there was no evidence.

So besides both claiming he is innocent for many years, even as a defence for Michael Jackson. Despite the fact they have failed with a court case before today for lack of evidence and changing stories with no corroborating evidence. Despite the fact the documentary contains no statements that offer a defence.

He is guilty right because someone says so?

This is where society has gotten to. Everyone is guilty because someone accuses them.

Tonight's episode is supposed to cover the court stuff. Doesn't really matter because you've clearly made up your mind.

What bothers me most about all of this is everyone knew what was going on, yet they turned a blind eye to it. Nobody should be above it all. Some of these celebrities can get away with anything.

Showbiz/Hollywood is all some weird cult/brotherhood. I’m positive Michael and R Kelly aren’t the only ones.

I think it'd have a very sinister feel to it if it was shown now to be honest

That being said, they haven't taken Chris Benoit off the WWE Network for instance, nor Jimmy Snuka, and they killed people

At what point do you separate the art from the artist, if ever?
Very interesting question Mikey....most of us love pop music in one form or another, be it rock, indie, soul, disco, etc etc. Most of us know that a lot of these bands and individuals indulged in sex with under aged "groupies" ....either male or female, but their songs/albums/ etc are still being played with no problem whatsoever..should the term "nonce" also apply to them also? Can of worms I think........

It is a can of worms, my mum and dad both worked at EMI during the 60's and 70's and said it was completely normal to have girls as young as 12 hanging around the studios and offices with artists... no one batted an eyelid, was just considered the norm.

Bill Wyman from the Rolling Stones married a 13 year old girl didn't he and no one cared one bit when it happened.

That's the thing though, nobody does know what was going on - the FBI investigated for 3 years and corroborated nothing happened, many of the other kids categorically deny anything happened - including the 2 that are on the documentary. The stories just sound too close to the Jordy Chandler testimony that was released.

They purjured themselves in court, yet now because they are saying he's guilty they're credible? Lies because the moneys dried up IMO.

I can actually put this rumour to bed as I have it on very good authority he was just a keen lover of door locks so had 20 of them lobbed on his bedroom door.
