It's well documented that plenty of nonces, rapists and serial killers had messed up abusive childhoods and they still received the condemnation and vitriol they rightly deserved. Why does 'Wacko Jacko' get this weird free pass? He had plenty of money to get therapy or some kind of treatment for his vile urges, but instead he chose to act upon them.

To use your words There is often something wrong with all kinds of criminals and offenders . Stats will tell you A lot of sex offenders have been abused , blokes who batter their missus have seen their dads do it and have often been battered as kids , fellas that burgle your houses and rob your nans handbag when she goes the bingo have often had tough even terrible childhoods as well . Of course Lots of people have lived through the same things and have productive non offending lives. My point is I don’t see people twisting and turning or looking for reasons like they do for Jackson for the majority of other offenders .
I'm not at all saying your excusing him by the way mate just using yours to reply . people seem to say oh he had had it tough or was just wanting a childhood having sleepovers with kids but if Jackson lived in an ordinary estate not a soul would be saying it or defending him . I find his behaviour odd to the point that sexual interest seems to be the most likely explanation and when children start to say they’ve been abused then Occam’s razor seems relevant.

It is weird how wildly his fans defend him when the same people would be so quick to condemn anyone else under the same circumstances. I do my think it’s a coincidence that a lot of the child stars that came out of that era were messed up though.

The general consensus from the few people who have seen the new HBO documentary is that it’s pretty much impossible to not come to the conclusion he was a nonce... but then it was mainly media type people who saw it at sundance and they do love the hyperbole somewhat.
