Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

What I find totally unacceptable is that someone in that party betrayed her by releasing her video clips, that’s the upsetting part about the whole story.
100% .. every one of us would die of embarrassment if our friends couldn’t be trusted as what happens on your stays on tour (so to speak)… it’s really not cool… saying that I did replay the vid 4 or 5 times…

And this thread, like a few on GOT, is proof of that.

I clearly remember, when Nik was first poorly ill, some poster that I cant even recall, DM'd me offering me his family season ticket for any game, (not United nor RS mind), any time I wanted it. Literally, out of the blue.

GOT, for those with a longer memory, will recall posters helping a Russian lad getting housed, a job, his place furnished, gratis, when he had to flee Russia. (He turned into a tit, but even so). We have sent flowers to funerals, got Carlos a shirt with his name on it, the depression thread has prevented at least one suicide.

Human nature.
I remember that well, people turning up with household items for him, and I think It was Tommye went around to his place to do some plumbing or similar

And people helping him paint his place, it was heartwarming to see the good folk of GOT helping in such a way

I completely agree. There are so many good kind people out there.

Read a few pages of that, (if it opens), and bear in mind its from strangers, football fans, on a footie forum. Then imagine its you that got that amount of emphathy, sympathy, good wishes, for someone most never knew.

Human nature.

Thats the one. Then he had a few bob, and started having a go at Blues who didnt go to the game.

I just rounded up some furniture and bits and bobs off folk in my van and took them to his flat. I'd do the same for any of you, anyone really if they need the help.

If everybody did something kind for somebody every day the world would be a much better place soon enough.
Eh @tommye my microwave is on the blink, can you drop one of to me

I’m only 3000 miles away

No I remember you helped the lad out, never heard what ever happened to him
It went a bit quite after he got sorted

Just had some quite upsetting news. My brother just called to say his granddaughter, the one with secondary breast cancer, sadly passed away last night. I really feel for my niece, her mother, who I know will be absolutely devastated. She is away on holiday at the moment. Her daughter had been doing brilliantly after being given 3 months back in January, but took a turn for the worst at the end of last week and went downhill very fast. I only spoke to my brother on Sunday and he said she was in hospital having tests on her liver, but he didn't seem overly concerned at the time. 28. No age at all.
So very sorry to read this, Life is so cruel sometimes and to lose a child/grandchild is the cruellest blow. My sincerest condolences to you and your family. ?

Terrible news. Really sorry to hear that. My condolences to you and your family.

Im so sorry to read this news. It breaks my heart for your family having to lose a dear family member at such a young age. I try not to use the word hate very often, but I hate cancer and the devastation it causes to their victims and their families. I cannot even phantom how hard the lost of her daughter is going to be for your niece and everyone else. As a parent, one never want to be having to be burying one’s kid. That’s not how it is suppose to happen. I hope your family can make sense of such loss and find some peace and comfort as you remember and honor your niece.

Sending healing prayers and comforting hugs to you and your family. I am so sorry for your loss, darling. Xxx

Oh I am.so sorry to hear this. Much love to ypu and your family. Life is really cruel at times. Hugs x

Pass on the regards from this thread Fred ,so sad to hear of a youngster going before her time . Condolences to your brother and his family .
Thanks for the kind words guys. My eldest sister called earlier. Apparently my niece got a call yesterday and was able to get a flight home and spend the last few hours with her which was nice. I messaged her earlier and she got back to me straight away which is a good sign. It's still sinking in and I know the feeling well. Although her daughter has been fighting cancer for a while and twice over the last 2 years she has been warned to expect the worse, she was actually doing well before my niece went on holiday. So it's still come as a bit of a shock to the system.

Remember that thread very well mate. It was only a couple of weeks after Cal and reading it cut through me like a knife.

Couldn't agree more about this forum though and the good people on it. When Cal passed it was very early morning and there were issues with the ships telecoms. So it was to this forum that I turned for support and to unburden my emotions. The response I received was overwhelming with so many messages and PMs offering support.

Good people. Actually, special people.

It is always a shock Fred and also so sad for someone so young . It is not natural to outlive your kids

Good morning all , not a good day yesterday with the sad news for Fred and the young girl in Dovecot . I hope all slept well and have a good day today .We did just enough last night ,if we were still playing Rondon would not have scored and I am not just blaming him ,he had next to no service .The ref should have done something because they kicked Onana off the park .COYB.
P.S. 60 mill for Anthony ,grab it with both hands .
