Bosloe House.A NT holiday let. Sleeps 26.
What was that about reading on a bit first ?View attachment 163030last but not least. My well deserved pint of cold cider.
I learned to knit when I was in hospital as a kid and then learned to crochet when I was 21 living with an older woman -just renting a room and she had a brand new colour tv but wouldn't use it ! That was when tv's were luxuries .I crocheted coats for my kids when they were in their prams ,they used to joke that I could be a bouncer and do the crocheting behind the door .Another pic to share with you all tonight, just because I think is so darn cute. Fresca keeps sleeping on a blanket that my mum crocheted for our daughter, so to fix the issue she crocheted one for her too and she finished it today. As you all can witness, Fresca looks very pleased with it ?

There’s a twitter page Lego Lost at Sea which features Lego and other assorted plastic which is washed up on Cornish beaches, fascinating stuff.@Barnfred 55 I meant to post this pic of the sea glass and cold stones that we found in Italy. We found some in France but not as many or as nice. Can you find sea glass at your beaches?

My Dad did all his own sewing and darning, he joined the Navy at sixteen so was used to doing it. Mum looked after parents and siblings from an early age as my Nan was frequently ill. She hated the pile of mending she had to do every week and vowed if she ever married she would never darn a sock again.I learned to knit when I was in hospital as a kid and then learned to crochet when I was 21 living with an older woman -just renting a room and she had a brand new colour tv but wouldn't use it ! The gardens at Bosloe are beautiful. Although it's NT it's for private hire so the gardens aren't open to the public and are a hidden gem. It will be fully out soon so I'll take some pics. Bosloe is where the stores are so Cal and I were down there most days. Fantastic place to go to work. Not a bad place for Cal to work ! Duc asked for my recipe. A few posts later Sass had responded his post by providing link, saving me the hassle and time of doing so myself. What was that about reading on a bit first ?
