Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven


Good evening. Been out and about today. Went to San Sebastian today ( home town of Mikel Arteta).It was gorgeous, very affluent apparently - the rich and famous like to hang out there, a lovely seaside town. Tried the Basque equivalent of tapas called pixtos I tthink.Prior to going there we spent about an hour trying to find Bilbao bus station. During our search we did come across Real Bilbao's ground. We've also walked around 10 miles today. @fandjango your ppainting is lovely. @jazzy your team must have stood on a black cat or something to have that amount of bad luck! @Sassy Colombian II'll post some pics when I get home. My phone is still being very weird on this forum. Take care all. I know it's a worrying time for everyone x

Results nearly all went our way last night and we have a great chance now to capitalise on that. A win on Sunday would be huge and I can’t see any other acceptable result.

Morning everyone.

Quite bright and breezy here today but rain forecast later.

It's Friday so it's housework day.

If it stays dry I will do some gardening later as my back feels a bit better.

@anjelikaferrett the holiday sounds great.

@Terrarian not heard from for a while , hope that you and Daisy are OK.

@fandjango enjoy your next trip to the middle East.

Good results for us last night and loads of games in hand but we have to pick up points ourselves.
 

Morning all bright and breezy here today. Hoping for a better day today after yesterday which started off on a rather surreal note and ended up rather stressful. After dreaming of ex brother-in - law who I haven’t seen in over 30 years we received an invitation to his daughter’s wedding in October. Later in the morning daughter rang to say her youngest was ill and could we get some Calpol for her. Dropped it off and she didn’t seem too bad just sleepy and said she had a headache. Call from daughter in the afternoon asking us to pick eldest up from school as she had been advised by 111 to go to A&E as Jessica’s headache worse and now complaining her back hurt and she felt dizzy. They returned four hours later, which, considering the hospital was rammed apparently, wasn’t too bad. They think she has a water infection which hope the antibiotics will clear up but samples have been sent to the lab to be on safe side. Text this morning to say she had slept through the night so hopefully she’s on the mend. Hoping to go to Stamford this morning on the bus, look round the market, fish and chips then home. Have a good day all.
