The current classical guitar build … hoping to have her in some semblance of guitar shape by XmasHave a good day mate.
Working on your guitars sounds quite therapeutic.
Do you work to a guitar soundtrack or is that too much of a bus man's holiday?

Actually it's probably the first time in my life I had soup for breakfast. Not something us Irish do at all really unlike hangovers which we do well and regularlyBtw, @NeroCeasar I didn’t know Irish, like Colombian like to have soup for breakfast. I specially like to have it in the morning when having a bad hangover.
Then now that you have done so, maybe it becomes a traditionActually it's probably the first time in my life I had soup for breakfast. Not something us Irish do at all really unlike hangovers which we do well and regularly

Morning mate. Morning Messy. Hope you had a decent night and are up to posting today. Morning everybody else.Morning Messy, Fred and the rest of the gang.
Lovely sunny day here in Kent. 10C the high. I'm off to the dentist for a check up soon.
Good to see you posting yesterday Messy. Hope you enjoyed your time with your mates and the Blues didn't get you down.
That was the least stressed I've been watching Everton for a while. The inevitability of it all just calmed me.
Looking good amigo. The current classical guitar build … hoping to have her in some semblance of guitar shape by Xmas
Gorgeous area where you live Fred. I know it well having grown up in Plymouth. I did the reverse journey to you moving up to Liverpool in 1982.Morning mate. Morning Messy. Hope you had a decent night and are up to posting today. Morning everybody else.
Keeping busy with cooking this week. Made a curry on Saturday. A proper one from scratch using a recipe that we normally use with lamb, but I couldn't get any lamb so used pork. It didn't work out very well because the pork was a bit tough. Not sure if it was the wrong cut of pork for stewing, or whether I overcooked it or undercooked it. The taste was spot on (really hot to my taste), just the texture. Anyway, I have seconds for tea tonight and I've also frozen a portion. Later in the week I'm doing Cal's beef stew with red wine which i'll share the recipe for in Sassy's thread.
Neighbours have just knocked on the door with some meatballs in sauce she made yesterday, so that's tomorrow nights tea sorted. They're taking the dogs for a walk this afternoon and asked if i wanted to come along. It's another beautiful day down here and they're walking down to Maenporth Beach, which is a lovely wooded valley walk, so that's my afternoon sorted. The husband is taking me into Falmouth to get my hair cut tomorrow afternoon, and on Wednesday we're all going to get our booster jabs in the morning and then go for a spot of lunch. So a busy week for a change. Don't know how i'll manage. lol
Mrs Js just made some veggie minestrone soup for lunch!!Then now that you have done so, maybe it becomes a tradition
In Colombia we just love soups a lot so they are part of our regular menu even for breakfast. There is one soup in particular that is a breakfast staple, or hangover cure, and can restore even the most tired person’s strength. A mix of ingredients that no one would ever think would be so good, having milk as it’s main ingredient, along with eggs, bread and cilantro. A strange combination but I sure you a very tasty one, or at least Colombians seem to think so lol

I prefer the meat version personallyMrs Js just made some veggie minestrone soup for lunch!!
.Prude and joy is the second emotion … blessed relief that I hit through it is first … pride and joy comes when the local professional plays it and determines its quality … these guys can be brutal ha haLooking good amigo.
I help out in a charity shop for animals in need and a few months ago we were donated a beautiful Hofner acoustic guitar.
Now I know nothing about musical instruments and can't play a note but even I knew that this was top top quality. So , got in touch with our mate Gordon ( he's written a book on the history of Hofner ) and he confirmed it was a rare one from the late 60s.
Managed to hawk it round and eventually got £1000 for it and the charity.
Anyway the point is even someone with no knowledge can spot quality and the one you're building looks pretty wonderful too.
It must give you a real sense of pride and joy when you finish one.
I like soup in a basketI prefer the meat version personally.
Nice on a sandwich I hear.
