When I was young we were skint so I had a bike that was 2nd hand and was really rusty. One kid piped up they must have both been left in the rain that's why they are rusty. It really got to me at the time but in the end it toughened me up.

My sense of humour is sometimes at myself and I think all the jokes I got as youngster helped me to develop this wit. I'm actually now grateful for my hair colour although for many years I hated it.

I'd rather be a ginger than a generic boring colour that people need to put highlights in to distinguish themselves.

In my younger days I volunteered as a human test cross, but was only ever taken up once (err, twice) on the offer. And I failed to replicate, but still worth the effort.
