Good morning all. Very bored doing overtime. So a quick coffee break is called for. How is everybody? We didn't have any trick or treaters last night either so now I have a load of spooky Haribos just waiting to be eaten! I shall try to resist.
I've never seen a ghost. I desperately wanted to see the Grey Lady of Speke Hall ( another good place to visit @Armaghtoffee if you ever have time) fame but never did.
Off out tonight to celebrate a friend's 70th birthday. I'm looking forward to it.

I need more. What did you see, what did she look like?
I was in the garden , it was going dusk , and I caught a movement looked up and there was a form of a person but it was so fleeting and gone.
Others have said she wears Elizabethan dress but I didn't notice that but as Rowley Birkin QC ( the Fast Show ) says ...."I was very , very drunk"

Werrington is about a ten minute walk from my house. It’s a long film but if you skip through to about 11 minutes there’s a section on the old workhouse, now a private residence, which is said to be haunted. Incidentally one of the ghosts, Harriett Pine is my third cousin twice removed.

Hi guys, hope you're all well. Just thought I'd pop in and say hello and I'm still around lol. I'm struggling a bit at the moment, the ill health, constant pain and constant headaches are taking a toll on my mental health, it's all getting a bit much. Just feeling exhausted all the time.
I missed taking my meds one night by accident, my heads all over and I'd got them ready but for some reason didn't take them, I wasn't even aware I'd not taken them and I could not sleep at all, I was awake most of the night and it wasn't until morning after I'd got up that I noticed them. It just shows how dependant I am on them for more than just my head issues.
Anyway have a good weekend chaps and fingers crossed for a win monday or squeaky bum time will start again. I think the recruitment have really let us down. Even if Beto and Barry were firing on all cylinders having only 2 strikers is a bit daft, one gets injured and we're buggered even more.

Evening everyone, I hope you are all keeping well. We had one trick or treater last night - the first one in about 3 years. I ended up giving the sweets I’d bought to our Tesco delivery driver this morning for his kids. Beth (dil) and little Cis dressed up as a witch with her cat and went to the nursing home where she works where they were having a Halloween party and a trick or treat session for the residents - I’ve told my son to book me a room there when the time comes - they have a better social life than us .
Interesting to hear about the ghosts (you seemed to have forgotten to mention that @jazzy when we came over
), I’ve never seen one but have a very open mind and am very interested in stuff like that.

Nothing exciting planned for the weekend - I’m having a big batch cook session tomorrow - beef stifado, chilli, marry me chicken, carrot and lentil soup and mushroom soup. When we mind the baby I take them a meal over so they don’t have to bother cooking when they get in from work which is what my mum used to do for me and it was always much appreciated.
