Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this promising one here ,I hope all are well and had a good night's rest .
I must share a titbit ,I have suffered with pain especially my back for many years and it doesn't get better with age ,my wife who was a qualified masseur used to help a lot but when she got rheumatoid arthritis it had to stop so when day while perusing the Aliexpress site I noticed massage guns and one made by Lenovo the phone people! So I ordered one and it is incredible for me .I do my rear and the back of my thighs and I walk much better all day ,I have used it on my shoulders and it has taken the pain away at least for now .So if anyone is in pain procrastinating then I recommend trying one for around 30€ it is much cheaper than an hours massage .
Have a great day all COYB
I’m glad the massage gun is helping blue, I’ve had one for many years to help with my muscles and injuries after running. I hadn’t used it for a while but like you I’ve started using it on my back recently along with stretching exercises. I now find my back is stiff and needs stretching every morning when I wake up . Oops, turning this into “ the Oldies” thread 🙂

Morning all, bright start to the day so we have decided to take ourselves off to Stamford on the bus. We spent yesterday afternoon mostly carving pumpkins with grandkids nos. 3 & 4. I grew them myself and had a crop of ten so we had a lot of carving and mess (3 food caddy bags ) and of course me being the messiest of all ruined a coat (fortunately an old one) which went straight in the bin. Halloween ? Bah Humbug.🎃
Have a good day, all💙

Yes I have indeed had the pleasure of observing Queen Victoria’s appendage. It never ceases to make me giggle even yet.

The Liverpool One part of the city wasn’t there when I first started going to games and now it probably IS the city. Chavasse Park, beside Lewis’, is a lovely place in the summer time for a nice alfresco drink.
Happy Friday mate. Here's something heartwarming to take your mind off such a miserable wet and windy day. ;)

Hi folks, loving all the pictures of Liverpool. It truly is a beautiful city. Definitely go to Sefton Park @Armaghtoffee . It's beautiful. Along with Otterspool Prom, one of my happy places.
How's things with your Mum @jazzy ?
Not much to tell you about- Charlotte goes back to work on Saturday. We've got the little guy on Sunday. We're out for a friend's 70th birthday on Saturday night. Tomorrow we are going 10 pin bowling- a little treat for Charlotte's partner's son who has been visiting for half term.
Ive been to the gym four times this week, some cardio, some swimming and a couple of aqua aerobics classes so I feel like I'm back in the groove.
I tried to get tickets for the match on Monday but it looks like it is a sell out. It is also Mr F's birthday on that day so I'm not sure he would appreciate going to watch Everton for his birthday.
Have a lovely evening everyone. It's freezing here - thick ice on the windscreen this morning
Same old , same old thanks Ange

Proud moment in Liverpool last weekend when my sons were able to contribute to directions as we prowled relatively aimlessly in the town. We had a destination in mind but sidetracked on the way. From holding their hands for their first games (aged 4) now they can help me navigate the streets and tell me the places they read about.

UTFT 💙
Brilliant but does it compensate for the pain they will endure ? So great to hear about your connection to your boys .

Good morning all on this cloudy day here ,we are off to visit the wife's parents grave today something we do twice or three times per year ,I go to give thanks for the them helping my wife onto the property ladder that set her on her way to the house we now live in which is something I could never have imagined .
I hope all are well and had a good night and have a great day today .I will be watching the rugby league match at HDS ,I just have to ,I believe it is a sell out !
Have a great day all COYB

Morning all, another bright start to the day. Off to see the mighty Posh ( currently rock bottom of League One and having sacked Darren Ferguson yet again, 3 times now I think) in the FA Cup this afternoon. Feel slightly guilty about this as son asked us if we could dog-sit today as they were going to London. I had to refuse as I had already bought match tickets. He will now have to stay behind whilst the rest go. I know I am entitled to a life, it’s not my dog, he’s a grown up not a child etc…..but at the same time I feel I have let them down. That’s me though. This match had better be good.
Have a good day, all💙

What absolute nonsense Halloween is ( sorry AT) , yet another Americanism that is permeating our way of life - it will be thanksgiving next.

We will have lived in this house for 30 years next year and never had a Trick or treat visit.

I casually mentioned this at the Cricket club one year and the reply was that every kid in the village knows your house is haunted.

Strange that as we've never seen any apparations in the house although we have seen the famous village ghost down the bottom of the garden.

Happy leaf collecting everyone

Why not take the dog to the match ? It's not like it will be chocker 😂.
He could become the new Posh lucky mascot.
