Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

I know all around there but yet never actually stood in the actual square. It’s strange my propensity to walk and explore the city each time I am over.

The statues are amazingly detailed and realistic. The cafe in the corner does a roaring trade, queues outside every time I walked past it during my stay.
Philpots ,my lunch spot for a few years.

Exchange Flags- how I had never found that place before this weekend surprised me. A real hidden gem.

One of my favourite spots too. The cafe is now called Rise I think, only managed to get a table once as I won’t queue and it was very nice too. The other place I like there (veggies look away) is Fazenda - one of those meat places where you have a little red and green card and they keep coming with different types of meat - delish 😋. Such a spectacular city.

That’s it! Rise! For the life of me I couldn’t remember its name. The queueing stood out to me given the variety of other alternative eateries around there. Rococo is a lovely spot as well and not too far from there.

Good morning all on this foggy one here .I hope all are well and had a good night .The exchange flags got me thinking who has seen Queen Victoria's penis ?
So I google mapped and to my astonishment I would know very little of the area around John Lewis -new shop -it was by the Adelphi when I last went to the city centre It would be like going to somewhere I have never been so I was going round in circles to find if it was still there .It looks fantastic .
Have a great day all COYB

Yes I have indeed had the pleasure of observing Queen Victoria’s appendage. It never ceases to make me giggle even yet.

The Liverpool One part of the city wasn’t there when I first started going to games and now it probably IS the city. Chavasse Park, beside Lewis’, is a lovely place in the summer time for a nice alfresco drink.

Hi folks, loving all the pictures of Liverpool. It truly is a beautiful city. Definitely go to Sefton Park @Armaghtoffee . It's beautiful. Along with Otterspool Prom, one of my happy places.
How's things with your Mum @jazzy ?
Not much to tell you about- Charlotte goes back to work on Saturday. We've got the little guy on Sunday. We're out for a friend's 70th birthday on Saturday night. Tomorrow we are going 10 pin bowling- a little treat for Charlotte's partner's son who has been visiting for half term.
Ive been to the gym four times this week, some cardio, some swimming and a couple of aqua aerobics classes so I feel like I'm back in the groove.
I tried to get tickets for the match on Monday but it looks like it is a sell out. It is also Mr F's birthday on that day so I'm not sure he would appreciate going to watch Everton for his birthday.
Have a lovely evening everyone. It's freezing here - thick ice on the windscreen this morning

Good morning all on this promising one here ,I hope all are well and had a good night's rest .
I must share a titbit ,I have suffered with pain especially my back for many years and it doesn't get better with age ,my wife who was a qualified masseur used to help a lot but when she got rheumatoid arthritis it had to stop so when day while perusing the Aliexpress site I noticed massage guns and one made by Lenovo the phone people! So I ordered one and it is incredible for me .I do my rear and the back of my thighs and I walk much better all day ,I have used it on my shoulders and it has taken the pain away at least for now .So if anyone is in pain procrastinating then I recommend trying one for around 30€ it is much cheaper than an hours massage .
Have a great day all COYB
