Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

It is a brilliant film. Have you watched Made In Dagenham- based on the true story of how a group of female Ford workers took strike action for equal pay with their male counterparts. Their actions resulted in the Equal Pay Act. It is very funny and well worth a watch.
Not a film, but If you enjoy small theatre productions you would love this which is on a similar theme and is the truly inspirational story of the Grunwick strike in the mid 70s and the resilience of the mainly female Asian workforce.

Good morning all on this super day sun and shopping for us . I hope all are well and had a good night ,a word from the absentees @peteblue and @Pilks would be nice .
My eldest has booked to come for a visit at the end of the month ,he is staying for 8 days ,you know what they say about guests being like fish ,they smeel after two days !
He is in a much better place now that things are going well ,the people he is working for are about to launch their project and they may have more work for him . He is coming via Amsterdam where is is staying with a friend for a day or so ,he tried to arrange a visit to Nantes for a Japanese art exhibition and had arrange the flights but before booking he decided to get his tickets for the art museum to find it was sold out every day .
Missed the bullet there . He thinks he is coming over to go through all our tech stuff and give it all a good shake up but I have arrange lots of out door jobs for him to give him a clean break for a few days . Two tons of wood to be processed for a start !
Have a great day all

A couple of days outdoor work and away from tech will do him the world of good. I say that and I am seriously overheated after an evening walk- a balmy 25° here now with clear blue skies.

A mornings work ahead of me tomorrow then into the garden with a beer or ten with the music on. What’s not to like?

23 here now which is quite balmy for Cornwall. Sun goes down behind the trees around 7pm just now in my back and the cool sea breezes generally kick in. But it's lovely at the moment so just enjoying sitting out drinking wine, and catching up on the days Everton news listening to Flo Ro. I've had worse evenings
