Morning everyone,
Very strange weather. For each of the last 3 days it's started the day hammering down and late afternoon it's cracking the flags.
So hoping for a window of at least a couple of hours of good weather to cut the grass later.
Can't get into the Euros and to be honest I've never really been bothered about England winning at football. I used to hate them in the 80s , 90s and 00s with the associated thuggish , hooligans the team seem to attract.
I'm still embarrassed when I go on holiday and see grown men walking around in England shirts . In fact the notion of wearing any football shirt on holiday or any other time apart from football has always irritated me.
Anyway have a lovely day everyone.

England cricket made it through to the knockout phase of the T20. Let's see what happens now. I'll watch the England football match later but, much like @jazzy I have very little emotional attachment to the national team. I do wish them well though. I'm totally invested in the cricket team though - strange really.

Not much happening today. Daughter is in bed - she did a night shift last night, Mr F has requested a takeaway as a Father's Day treat - so not much effort required!

Happy Father’s Day to all as appropriate. Not that interested but currently half watching England on tv in our room with a bottle of rose and a packet of oregano lays. Quite partial to a twiglet tbh. Two hours ahead here so struggling to stay awake. So sorry about the weather at home - it’s cooled down a bit here to about 26 during the day and 23 at night. Hopefully we’ll bring the sunshine back with us
