Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Hello again. Greetings from Liverpool. Just arrived. The new baby was born about an hour ago. All are well. We are catching up with our cousins tomorrow. Alcohol will be consumed followed by
tea in Ma Bakers. Hopefully I'll also get a chance to see my eldest niece who is over from Australia visiting her Nan and Grandad and then on Sunday I'm offloading some stuff from my Mum and Dad's house to this thread's favourite charity. This means I get to meet Rosie, Tintin and maybe some mini goats.
Enjoy the rest of your Friday x

Great news! Looking forward to seeing you on Sunday . I was going to keep naughty Rosie locked up. The pygmy goats are much better behaved! lol

My husband is made up - his banner which he made for the 1984 milk cup final has been voted one of two iconic banners by the fans and has been replicated for the game on Sunday. The last pic is a still from the Howard Kendal DVD that came out a few years ago. That’s him on the pic - aw the guy I fell in love with 💙

That’s a super banner Val, well done to Mr Val. I was listening to The Band’s “ The night they drove old Dixie down “ today , it contains the line “ …there goes Robert E Lee “ and it reminded me of another iconic banner we had maybe ‘77 League Cup when Gordon Lee was manager “ General Lee’s Army” , perhaps not realising he was a Confederate General . Not surprised we ending up loosing that one !
