Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Was a bit surprised to get a text from the hospital today informing me that an appointment had been made for me at the general surgery clinic because as far as I knew I wasn’t on the list for surgery. Finally got through to enquiries and it turned out it was for the cyst on my scalp. The hospital had told my GP last year that her request, on my behalf, for surgery had been turned down as this type of operation wasn’t carried out by the NHS anymore. My name must have been put on the waiting list regardless of that fact though. You may remember I went private so I’ll never know if the NHS would have removed it or not but more to the point there does seem to be a lack of communication somewhere along the line.

Sometimes in this day and age it makes you wonder ,how and why it is so hard .I know I praise the Finnish system endlessly but as an example yesterday I went for my annual check up and being my age I have a few problems -some new some old- So with the new ones , I still have this bursitis ,the doctor saw it and I have an appointment today to drain it and a cortisone jab , I have pain in my feet ,today I go for an xray and Thursday for a blood test to see if it is rheumatism ,I have been going light headed ,today I go for a test ,next week I will see the specialist for my kidneys as one of the markers has moved slightly .
I do pay for this and it will all cost around 38€ which is the test fee .

Good morning all on this foggy day here in Hyvinkää .I hope all slept well and have a great day today . As posted above today I will be mostly in a waiting room .
The two points is less than I thought we might get but still too many ,I read they are scrapping this lot but I haven't seen it in the press ,if that is the case a pointer in the right direction would be appreciated .have a great day allCOYB

Morning mes amis,

Mrs J off to the rescue shop today.

Weather forecast pretty terrible, very windy and heavy rain so it will be indoor sport for me.

2 hours intensive table tennis practice this afternoon and this morning I will do a weights and cardio session in the gym.

My turn to cook today. There are only 2 meals that Mrs J let's me cook or is prepared to eat , tacos and spicy bean casserole. I think thats a bit unfair because I reckon I'm a half decent cook and that my pasta and curry is ok too but Mrs J is a bit of a MasterChef!

So, spicy bean casserole tonight .

Have a lovely day everyone.

Hi folks. What a very rainy rubbish weather day it has been. I've had the heating on. It's April for heaven's sake. Today's supermarket trip to Lidl resulted in the purchase of a toilet seat. That middle aisle has a lot to answer for! It's very nice - has a picture of a beach and a palm tree on the lid.
I'm still trying to understand the extra two points deduction. Not as bad as I expected but in the light of Forest's punishment, very harsh. I'm also perplexed to how new stadium construction costs count as losses. No club will be able to build or develop unless they are already super rich.
I reckon if we win three more games we should be OK.

I'm in total agreement.....apart from the toilet seat .

It has hammered down all day here but the sun's just come out but still windy as hell.

Me being the idiot that I am has only gone and strained my side playing ping pong this afternoon.

It's practice for God's sake, why do I take everything so competitively!!!!
