Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning all on this dark morning here in Finland .I hope all are well and had a great night's sleep . As you know I have had trouble communicating with my eldest son, well miracles do happen we spoke yesterday for two and a half hours about his treatment working ,so today it is cloud nine for me .Have a great day all.COYB
Pleased for you both blue.

Hi folks. Absolutely brilliant news @blue1948 . I'm so happy for you.
First day proper here in Prague. We did a hop on hop off bus tour and then a river boat trip. Also sampled a few beers. The lager is amazing. Also very cheap. Less than £2 for a pint. I'm also loving the Czech currency. I have a 2000 koruna note in my possession so I feel minted! ( about 29 to £1 - you do the maths🤣).

Looks great Ang, glad you are having a good time…..

Good morning all on this snowy day here in Hyvinkää .I hope all are well and had a good night . Snow work again today and I have to clear a way to our human waste disposal as the guy is coming to empty it tomorrow ,oh for the joys of city leaving ! Have a nice breakfast all ! I did mention we are getting a different car well the winter tyres are at an end so they are fitting new ones but they are taking two to three weeks to come ,it seems they are not so common .We had a Juke and the exhaust started to blow ,when I checked there were none available in the whole of Europe ,crazy but that was down to Covid ,no idea why the tyres are so hard to find .Stay safe all COYB

Morning all. Cloudy here but at least last night’s pelting rain has cleared. Love the pics @anjelikaferrett , sounds as though you are having a great time. Popped round to daughter’s yesterday for a couple of minutes to drop off the Ninja and bid it a fond farewell. Roped in to meeting granddaughters from school and ended up playing electronic battleships. Anyone remember that? Beaten out of sight by Hannah, my pegs kept falling out of board and I lost track, well that’s my excuse!
Just off to my friends’ she is away this week, and I am on fish feeding duties, they are still alive at the moment. 🤞🤞🤞
Have a good day, all.💙

G’d day all. It seems like we have a cat burgler problem.
As our two youngest kittens have grown , we’ve now taken to letting them out for short periods , which is fine until we don’t let them in again when they want. Daisy is much more agile than her slightly bigger brother Junior and has been practising leaping onto door handles indoors. She’s now worked out how to open the conservatory door from the outside and letting themselves in. It’s a nifty leap up to the handle, hold on until her weight moves it to the open position , hey presto door opens! Very inconvenient when we’re elsewhere in the house!

Couldn't you just lock the door?

Hello everybody. Greetings from a very wet Prague. We've had a lovely day today. Lots of sightseeing interspersed with coffee, cake, beer, hot chocolate and ice cream. We've been to the Old Town, St Nicholas Church and Prague Castle. However my most favourite thing was going to the railway station to see the statue commemorating the kindertransport organised by Sir Nicholas Winton. It was actually very moving seeing it. Here's some pics. Incidentally very disrespectfully while looking at the massive crystal chandelier in the church we all had the same thought - 'Brace yourself Rodney!"20240207_132504.webp20240207_111034.webp20240207_111245.webp

I love the Sir Nicholas Winton statue , we ventured all over Prague in 2015 but missed that. The “ One Life “ film is very very good.
