Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven

Good morning on the still dark but clear skied day here in Hyvinkää .I hope all had a fine night and have a great day today .
On the match yesterday as much as I love all players who don the jersey there are some that are simply not good enough ,I feel sorry for Sean with these injuries and suspect players not to mention the state of the club He would have pulled his hair out .Danjuma and Beto have no future with us and don't get me started on Harrison .I thought Virginia played well , Branthwaite ,Tarks and Myko but the rest need a boot up the backside .I am not sure if anyone watched but the stream I did the producer had a thing for their manager ! Zooming in on him whenever ,even when the game was in progress .It was a bit embarassing never mind annoying .Hope they find happiness together -just not on my watch .Have a great day all COYB.
P.S. I have watched highlights of the African games and it is so much more exciting and fluid than what we see .

No. I don't think they want him. I'm not sure a balding 63 Yr old fits in with the image of a leisure centre/ Spa. Even if it is to be a handyman! It does annoy me though - if you've taken the time to attend an interview the least they can do is give you an outcome.
That's poo.

What sort of image does a leisure centre want ?

In my gym the young instructions ( none of them over 25) have next to no idea about fitness training and even less about communication and people skills. I'm constantly astounded that they never correct technique or even enter into conversation and offer encouragement especially with new members.

I'd far rather have someone who was competent , pleasant and efficient projecting the image of my establishment regardless of their age .

Sorry, rant over - well it beats going on about how crap Everton are and how bleak our future is.

Great to hear from @Vegas Toffee Girl and that the job is going so well.

I hope the rest of you have a lovely weekend.

Weather was so good yesterday that I cut the grass ! Today I shall toddle off to the gym for some yoga and a session to make up for missing it tomorrow when I have a visit to the dreaded dentist.

No you go to the local dealership and they bring it for a deposit and you check the car over then.
Yeah that works for a brand new car where you can try a demonstrator but surely you want to test drive the used car to decide if you are interested or not.

I'm in the process of buying a new car for Mrs J and have a shortlist of about 5 different models.

When I've narrowed it down to a couple she will decide which one she prefers and then I will find one but there's no way I would agree to buy a used example without fully checking it out , if only to make sure that she's happy with internal / external colours lol.

I love cars and the correct colour is vital for a car imo, but this should never be acknowledged as important for a woman by a man😂. I once looked at a blue Honda many years ago and the salesman said - it’s just your colour madam - my husband’s face was a picture as he looked pityingly at the salesman knowing the sarcasm that was about to follow. Another gem was when I was pregnant and was looking at a VW scirocco. The salesman said - it’s hardly a pregnant woman’s car is it? Well light the blue touch paper and stand well back ….

I thought I got up early ( Rosie.....again!) but was surprised to see @anjelikaferrett and @Gwladysover liked Blues early post so couldn't sleep either.
Yep awake early yet again for me listening to the second part of podcast on the history swearing. Look away now @peteblue I learned that f… wasn’t considered a swear word until the 16th century and a kestrel was called a windf****r, you’re welcome.;)

It was a strange day yesterday. I was unable to follow the match as I was out with no mobile signal. I’m normally glued to it but you know what, it might actually be the future! Just let the match turn out as it will with no undue stressing over and shouting at the TV.

Doesn’t seem like I missed much anyway.
It was pretty dire to be fair, I’d say that was a decent strategy for the future
