This is so true- I have to go round on my hands and knees to get to the first chair or whatever that I can use to get up with.

When I was in Japan 4 years ago we stayed a few days in a very rural AirBnb attached to a farm . They provided a filled , hot ” onsen “ every day , a huge hot bath that you could literally submerge in . Twas wonderful !

Exactly this - I got stuck in one of those ones with legs on when we were on holiday in Cornwall last year. I was scared in case it tipped over and had to shout for help

Went over to Burghley as it was a lovely afternoon for a walk. Here’s a couple of pics, me trying to be arty (and failing) in one with sun setting behind the trees, one for you @blue1948 perhaps you can identify the fungi. Glorious sunset when we returned home followed by another great result, been a good day.

Yep, you develop the rollover technique, onto your tummy, push with the arms until you can reach the sides then push up….I hate getting old. Even though I’m there to help my wife she still does this….
