Good evening from Dallas, managed to get in somewhere today !. The Dallas Museum of Art it was very good with a gallery of European art from the 18th and 19th century. We went to Fort Worth yesterday and The Cowgirl Museum and Museum of Science and History were closed, then this morning The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza ( where Lee Harvey Oswald fired from, or maybe not) was closed !.
We can go in the morning before we leave for Austin so it’s not all bad.

I'm feeling a bit negative at the moment that's why I'm not posting so much. Need to get in touch with my shrink and get a med increase I think. At least feeling like this, Everton can't make it any worse, small mercy's I guess lol

Daisy is good though, cheeky little monkey she is.

Just been talking to someone, the lass who has the Golden Lab that Daisy plays with and she has just found out she has an enlarged heart and her brother found her collapsed at home, she ended in ICU and her heart is only working at 37% apparently. Scary stuff, good job her brother found her.

I love to hear that is how you see it as I amongst others try to keep this place very special in honour of Karl.To be fair whenever some one tries to get going they all seem to get the place and most apologise for their indiscrections .So I at least find it easy to persuade them to be civil ,I don't recall a mod ever needing to forcefully step in ,which is testament to the people who frequently post and the respect for Karl shines through .Long may that be the case .

Good morning all on the overcast soon to be rainy day here in Hyvinkää .I hope all slept well and have a great day .My daughter and granddaughter arrived yesterday evening so after the celebratory drinks we all had a good night ,in fact they are not awake to the world yet it is though only 7am in the UK .

Cheers blue, I shouldn't have any trouble getting an increase, they've told me if I feel I need one to get in touch. Much easier now I'm diagnosed, I'm on 400mg and I think it goes to 750mg, which is apparently more for schizophrenics so doubt I'll need to go so high.

Great stuff with the fundraising @jazzy and out of curiosity what is a TT group? I’m probably missing the obv as usual so forgive me, also have an amazing holiday in Jersey when it comes.
At the gym yesterday ref Tierney was also there and I so desperately wanted to have a rant but I don’t want to get banned from the gym. So I took a different strategy- I smiled at him and told him I didn’t envy him his job ( which to be fair I don’t) and that I was an Everton season ticket holder. He was v nice and I thought it might be better to get in his head for when he’s making decisions at Goodison so I will continue my plan. My husband thinks I’m barking mad but you never know do you …

Glad you had a good lunch @Barnfred 55 . it's lovely when you meet friends and the time just flies by. @bigjonny your trip sounds amazing. Was Bruce supposed to be part of it? He's postponed all the rest of his tour because he's ill. Sorry if you were planning on seeing him. Enjoy Jersey @jazzy and Happy Anniversary. Have a great time with your daughter and granddaughter @blue1948 .
Son, although still unofficially engaged, has set a date for next May. I went to the gym last night. I'm going again this morning. These two events may or may not be connected .
A follow up to our holiday was that while we were out with my brother, my sister in law reminded me that I had promised my youngest niece that I would go to Australia for her graduation. She's doing a midwifery degree. This was after Dad's funeral and I was a bit drunk. I do remember telling her that I would. Apparently my niece is very excited about this. So, it looks like the holiday for 2025 is sorted!
No plans for today. I was going to meet my ex boss for lunch but she has hurt her back lifting a bag of feed for her herd of alpacas.

Morning all, cloudy here today. Wednesday again so a break from decorating for me as it’s “Chew the fat with friend Day”. Mr. G has been bringing stuff down from her loft for her over the last few weeks so I expect we will be sorting through some of the accumulation of forgotten treasures and assorted rubbish. Cue for some reminiscing and tears I expect. I’ll let you know how it goes, whether you are interested or not.lol
