Messymascot's faith in humanity and ginger safe haven



Good morning all on this damp morning as we had rain last night ,I have only mowed the grass three times this summer and won't be doing again either unless it is to deadhead the weeds/ wildflowers .
I hope all had great night sleep and wake anew for today .
A game of two halves last night for me Mcneil in the first half and Warrington in the second were the ones to impress, Virginia in goal for the whole game pretty near faultless but once again Maupay was dreadful with no one else looking likely we are desperate need of a worthwhile striker .
Have a great day all .I will be fitting a new petrol pump on the jag and then off out for blueberries COYB
 
Food revelation:
As the regulars will know we are lucky enough to have time to prepare our own food and as a consequence don't buy much ready made ,there are some exceptions if the quantity is unwieldy or cheese fondue mix from Lidl .It is difficult to get all the cheeses to melt without splitting and the mix is really tasty .
Now the revelation ,which is as good as finding out you can eat the skins on Kiwi fruit! The lidl fondue mix is only 16% which means all the times we have been feeling guilty over the cheese has been pointless .

Weather isn't great, it doesn't know if it wants to be sunny or rain today.

I bought some trainers last week, I needed some because the cheaper ones I bought for walking daisy had my big toe go through a couple of pairs, even after clipping my nails. I thought they were really nice my new ones but when I got home and looked at the receipt it said womens trainers.

However it's 2023 and I'm obviously woke because I'm wearing them anyway lol I think they're unisex at best. I have looked at them and looked at them and can't for the life of me see why they're womens lol sod it lol

Yes I agree about last night. A much better first half performance than we saw at Wigan. I enjoyed watching the youngsters in the second half. I thought they were energetic, tenacious and did ok against what I guess were Boltonā€™s first team. Thankfully in the second half people decided to sit down so allā€™s well.
