Couple of spoonfuls of rice went in the bin together with the chilli stalks. Other than that the plates were licked clean.

He's braving the spicy chicken fried rice tonight. He'll have an arse like Mount Vesuvius by the time he gets home.šŸ˜€

Evening everyone, been blowing a gale here most of the day. Took a trip into town this morning. Passed by a ceremony which was being held outside the town hall to mark Commonwealth day and promoting peace, diversity and shared values. I caught the end of a conversation between three people of mature years who were watching the formalities. The first was telling of his grandchildrenā€™s new friends to which one woman replied, ā€œOh thatā€™s nice - as long as they arenā€™t black or foreign!ā€ ā˜¹ļø.
 
Evening all. Looks Fred and Blue had a great time, brilliant.
You wouldn't believe it but I spent all morning trying to arbitrate between 2 captains in the table tennis League over a possible rules breach. It's only a game fellas.
Anyway at least the weekend was a bit brighter on the football front even though these games are terrible for my blood pressure.

Sadly itā€™s not even just a generational thing. Itā€™s difficult to know where to start with people like that.

Even Ian Snodin said on commentary that he gets no enjoyment from these games at all now.
